16 is the age for pretty much everything over here. though you can only drive at 16 on a provisional license. im not sure whether drinking in a public place is 16 or 18. drinking in private youre allowed any age, though parents only give their kids a sip of beer or whatever. 16 is also the age for 'other things' though youre not allowed to do 'other things' in the back of a car at 2:am in front of buckingham palace. heh, my uncle got 60 hours community service for that...

mostly around here the time for clubs to close is 4 am but if you're 6'3 with a goatee the age is anything to get in as long as you act like you can get in or sneak in the back
