im thinking about geting in to road racing, its alot funner then drag racing, but anyways i dont realy need the neon cuz i have about every measure ment and notes to build my tube chassie for it but who knows when i will get back in to drag racing, lately ive been thinking it would be a hell of alot more fun takeing the turns down 74 in a porsche rather then going str8 down the 1/4mile

they are ugly, i completely agree. not only that but they have a very bad stigma about them being volkswagens. i believe they were even sold out of the volkswagen dealerships in the 70's. they are not volkswagens though, and well, they handle better than the 911's. by far.

needless to say, i think you've got some balls, so there aren't any real reasons not to get a 911. chickenshits shouldn't ever drive them, as they let off the gas in turns and the car & driver both generally get raped by a large tree.

there's a guy up here with a nice idf downdraft 911t. it's green, got a very straight body & no rust. very quick, revs like a honda. i think he wants 7 grand or so. seriously though, chad, get a porsche. do it. you'll never regret it. especially with the connections you've now got at the job. do some shopping before you bite though. and good luck.
