custom and "not cost too much" are very rarely seen together. Good luck though.

nobody else out here builds custom headers and he knows what he's doing, he worked for JBA building headers for a while. he'll know how to build them to get you the most power out of them, if they aren't built right you'll lose power.
remember..you get what you pay for..

i think i found the correct headers from hooker headers.. it doesnt say its restricted to the c-4 transmission, so hopefully it will work with my fmx... 180 bucks... now all i gotta do is work and save up for them lol.... thanks though everybody... some time i might check out race prep, they should have a car show there, or is that what your cruise nights are?

I'd like to come down some time, but im gunna be up north on vacation while the next one on august 3rd is happening. Maybe after that i will make it down there. How many cars and people do you normally have every cruise night? Do you race afterwards?

the number of cars depends on the weather, usually in the summer there is a low turnout due to the 100 plus degree temp. i haven't been to the races in ages so i couldn't really tell ya what they do after the show nowdays.

ok i talked to another guy who owns a 73 coupe w/ 351c and FMX auto. He has plain 351c 2v headers in there, they clear the FMX fine. Dunno why the companys say only for c-4 trannys. Looks like im not gunna have a problem with headers now, thanks for your help though.
