The new Mustang Mach 1 just squeezed off a 12.97 in completely stock trim minus some Nitto DRs.

It has the same 32V V8 that the Cobra has. Supposedly, it is only 300hp, but with times like that, sounds a little underrated to me.

hell yah to pull off under 13 in the 1/4 i mean that seems a bit over 300hp damn i hatem ustangs but if theya re running that then damn and this mach 1 is it like the bullit edition i knew they were planning on bringing it out i didn't have a clue it was out now though

Not really. Ford suped up muscle car against Chevy suped up muscle car. Chevy has ALWAYS been at least 2 tenths faster in the 1/4 from factory built cars.

but the vette isn't a muscle car it's a sports car it always has been and has never and i don't think it should be compared against a mustang i may be wrong here but mustang vetter never really was the showdown ppl talked about
