I think you could pick a used L67 with the charger and PCM for around $1100. Im not sure about it working with you trans thogh. Do you have the 4t60 trans? The 97 GTP has a 4t60e that is the electronic version of you trans. than in 98 they went to the 4t65e if im not mistaken. im not sure if your trans would work with that motor. heres a link of a guy that swaped the s/c motor into his older body style grand prix. http://techvelocity.com/gtp/


And about the guy with the supercharged 3.4 in his f body camaro, Thats the pushrod version of the 3.4 and not the DOHC motor. alot of guys put aftermarket superchargers on them and actually get pretty respectable times. but yea, the only factory supercharged motor is the series 1and 2 3800.

I see... I figgered they were the same engines... hehe... Most of the guys with blown V6 swaps in their fieros use 3800 S2's and S1's... I think the S2 is the more desirable motor? i'm not sure.. i've never really researched the 3800 swap... always wanted the V8... hehe...
