well, gm still makes cars that will smoke a mustang stock. A gtp will run pretty close to a mustang stock and a caddy sts or etc will spank a mustang. the price is pretty high but you get alot of car with that.

Not that i'm an expert on Vettes or anything, but didn't the z06 come with 405 hp? and I believe it ran 12.9's. Now the Saleen S 281E ran into the 11's 11.7 to be exact, with 425 hp, something only a viper has been able to do in factory trim. Now with 455 the Vette will haul major ass, most cetainly 11's, right?

Is that supposed to be the C6? I haven't heard much about it.

Not to be an ass, but GTP was right. The blown Grand Prixs make 205 whp...Mustang GT's 200 whp. Grand Prix makes 256ft/lbs of torque...Mustang GT 235ft/lbs. Given the GT is RWD and the GTP is wrong wheel drive, still 20 ft/lbs and 300lbs less chassis weight are hard to keep up with. Might make for a fun match up at the races. AS far as the STS goes...I don't know nor claim to, but if one comes in for me to dyno...I'll get back to you.

You're on crack bro. I made 231rwhp and 276lb-ft in my bone stock 99GT. The GTP MIGHT be a 14sec car stock. My car is a 13sec car stock. I think you are a bit misinformed. You must have never dyno'd a 99+ GT. I guarantee stock-for-stock, I would KILL a GTP.

i was talking about 400 cubic inches not hp. but i guess people in this world are more into liters and cc's and all that crap! hehe!
