Have u ever seen this car......its amazing have a look @ it on this site... 0-60 in 5.5 secs with 350 bhp...... Imagine seeing this car crusing down your street.

isnt gtx a sunfire trim package is here atleast any specs on this car? where on this site is it besides your profile?

it's gtp or gto. gtx was a hopped up plymouth satellite back in the 60's and 70's.

anyways, the GTX is a package that you can order on the GTP. SLP is who builds the parts for the GTX. All it is is the ram air hood, badges, floor mats and exhaust added to the GTP. the ram air hood looks shard and is funtional but makes very little performance differance. the only noticable differance is above 90 mph. the ducting in the hood is so tight and restricted, its hard for the air to make its way to the motor.

the gtx is a hopped up plymouth it's also a trim model for a sunfire AND now it's a grand prix apparently slp does kick ass

Is that the Pontiac GTO that is made in Australia and sold here as the HSV (Holden Special Vehicles) Monaro? It sure looks like it

yup. it sure is. yay, we get a holden with a vette motor! wish we could get some of those old holdens that were in the road warrior. what were they interceptors?

Yeah....the high way patrol interceptors were hard core back in the day.
I heared a report that you guys over there prefer the HSV commodore utes (or trucks as you guys call em  ) than the Monaro/GTO? What do you think??

yea, the pontiac is alot like the holdens over there. actually hooyea, the GTX grand prix has been out longer than the sunfire if im not mistaken!

no the gtp has been but the sunfire was originally the sunbird. JcAus that is not the GTO the GTO has no offical look for the US to date that is the pontiac Grand Prix GTP with a GTX performance package which is bigger exhaust, functional ram air(although blowngtp said it aint that great) and 17in rims&tires. its more of an appearance package then performance

we aren't talking about the introdustion of the sunfire just the gtx trim package i know it was atleast 98-99

The GTX package on the GTP came out in late 96 when the First widetrack GTP was made.
