At the Detroit Car Show cadillac unveiled their Cadillac 16... This car is power by a new aluminum block V-16 with 1000 horses under the hood...

Now.... a car with 1000 horses completely stock sounds badass, but it does come with a hefty $250,000 price tag... heh...

Altho i have heard and read about this car on MSNBC, I can't seem to find any pictures of it.... any of y'all heard of this car yet?

Heh, just got done checking it out in the Jan 13 edition of newsweek. Yup, they say it's gonna be 1000 HP, I highly doubt it though It'll probobly end up somewhere in the 500-600 HP range. It's gonna be marketed against the 400 HP Bentley Arnage, 543 HP Mercedes Maybach and the 453 HP Rolls-Royce Phantom. They might shoot for more horespower than the competition, I just doubt it will be 1000...

bugatti has an i beleive 1001 hp quad turbo w16 could be wrong but thats how i remember it
it's possible i doubt it as well but it's possible the maybach is friggin insane though fully reclining seats in the back each with a dvd player infront electro panel sunroof little table folds out of the seats tv tray type thing
and 0-60 in 5.5 seconds to boot not bad for a car that weight like 6000+ pounds

saw this on a birtish tv show it's a pretty cool show called top gear interesting stuff seeing the british cars tested and such

with 16's cylinders it just doesn't impress me. it's gonna have the hood that looks like a boat! that is crazy man 16 cylinders....I would like to know the gas mileage on that bad boy!

probably 6-8 mpg depending it may be using cadilacs drop a bank of cylinders technology

It'd probly be usin displacement on demand technology if they plan on gettin any MILES per gallon at all! lol. Plus, I bet it'd be too fuckin heavy to be a serious ass-hauler

actually stryker it will be a pretty decent asshauler the mercedes maybach in it's class weighs around 6000+ pounds and it'll run 0-60 in 5.5 seconds and easily hit over 130 mph

you can expect these things to probably be smoking camaros and mustangs

ya... its prolly gonna weigh a ton, but it is a complete aluminum block designed by the same people who make the Ferrari Modena's get 25mpg, so maybe it can have around 6 or 7mpg... in all of the articles i have read about this car it seems that gas mileage is one of the big things GM and Lutz have been concentrating on for this car.... haven't seen any real numbers yet tho...

well if they're looking for good gas mileage it will definately have cadilacs displacement on demand technology so technically most of the time it'll be a straight 8 or v 8 depending on the setup possibly a 4 as well
