racers from europe   Posted Tue Jan 21, 03   3:02 PM

hello,
i'm a racer from switzerland, and i'm afraid to say, that our street-racing scene isn't that big... but we are trying to animate as mutch guys we can.
the prob in switzerland is the law for registating tuned cars.... (ex: direct air intake is not allowed and so on).
i'm a big fan of us cars (and nipon), and i'm thinking about to go to the usa to buy a '72 dodge charger or a '68 camaro and to import it by my self. chargers are hart to find here..
could anybody give me some infos about pices and so on?

well musclecar prices can and will TOTALLY vary sometimes you can find good cars for cheap as hell and sometimes people want a couple grand for complete shitboxes it all depends on the seller

it also depends on how original you want it to be. for $6000 US you can easily get a '68 camaro that was originally a 6 cylinder car, but has been converted to a 350 small block v8.

the charger is going to be a lot tougher, and much more expensive. especially if you want an r/t

well in all technicality, i am currently married (since newyears eve)...but as far as everyone who knows me in the real world knows, i'm getting married on august 17th. it was a taxes/religion thing, confidential marriage certificate, etc...

but yeah i'm getting married in august to the love of my life, mira anderson. she's not too bad with a wrench either. spent about an hour working with the air chisel the night before last helping me take undercoating off the coupe.

thanks for the congrats...i'll pass them along to her as well.

there are photos of us somewhere in one of my photo albums. i think this one:

the other photos are of my friend's wrecked bonneville and his sister's '69 mary.
