Err, pretty much what that says... seems the previous owner never changed the oil in the tranny... lets just say I drained the fluid after it popped and shards of twisted bearings came out
Anywho, so this week i'm hunting for a 77-83 Z 5 speed. Good thing is it'll be allot quicker and i'l have better mileage with the 5th gear
Bad thing is i'm without a vehicle and must resort to the stone age method of "riding a bike" to classes...

Me and my pops hit the yard this morning and nabbed two 83ZX 5 speeds. Put the one with less miles in and have the backup... ther was a little bit of creative cutting here and there... but all in all a good swap. Zoom zoom
