Thanks Sam,
So what you are saying is that in theory I could connect up the Nitrous setup to the existing fuel supply if it can produce the required amount of fuel pressure and flow? Until I have all the pumps required for the fuel cell.
Cheers

according to NOS you can. you'd be better off just doing it with the seperate fuel system if thats what you are going to do, that way you can hook it all up the way you want it the first time. going back through stuff you already hooked up to make changes is a hassle and wastes alot of time. just use your're seperate fuel cell and any good electric pump with a regulator.

With regards to the pumps is there really any brand to stay well away from?
I am looking at this pump
Holley 110 GPH "Blue" Electric Fuel Pump with Regulator
I think that it will do what I need it to do

I used to use a mallory 140 which was a rotary pump and it worked very well and the Holley Blue pump is also very good but just works differently. 110 GPH works out to about 1.8 gallons a minute unregulated, not sure what it would do at 5 psi. It is probably more than enough, I would find a NOS retailer to make sure, you dont want a melted engine.

I know you cant put a nos kit into a completely stock car... seen that on some tele program... tee hee. but what do you actually need to change to make your car,er, nos acceptable? ive heard something about piston rings from my dad, anything else?

Nothing, just add the NOS. However if you are looking for big gains, maybe over 100hp, then you definitly need to do some more work on the engine.

I'd say at least a fuel pump, and maybe a fuel pressure regulator, don't want to run lean.

Oops, minor detail, thanks Ben. Extra fuel is VERY important with NOS.
Maybe I should have read MY earlier posts, d'oh!

i use the Holley blue pump on my system and it works well. its a loud pump though, you'll hear it when you turn it on. the Mallory pumps are good also but way pricy compared to a Holley.
