Ive got a choice between a 318 ti with a '97 M3 motor or a 2002 with a '87 M3 motor in it, which should I go for and should I pay over $284 for them? Since I am a business man looking to make a deal, I should be able to turn around and sell them for over $4500, any takers?

I would go with the Nova. Elky's have a problem hooking up because of the light rear ends. I also like the look of the Nova a little more then the El Camino myself.

Depending on how much is done to them I'd pay around $4500 as well.

incorrect.

the el camino has 1.3' more frame out back and weighs more than a chevelle coupe in the rear.

that's a misconception. my el camino with 3.73's and a posi with 245/65r15's hooks up quite well. and those are bfg's.

just trying to dispell a myth. plus, there is a cargo hold in front of the rear axle in an elk that can be filled with sandbags, etc to really assist you with hooking up well.
