hey goped are your front brakes hydraulic or mechanical?

mechanical discs.... they work pretty well, but ive got a avid vee brake on the back. what sort of bike were you riding? and what sort of front wheel?

it was an araya 26 inch aluminum rim (kenda kenetics (26x2.30) tires)split it at the seam


mechanical discs are nice but i find my a set of V brakes stop better i'm 270 pounds and if i jam my front brakes on the back wheels like 4 feet in the air without leaning forward at all
