I don't see how he could ever make that big truck turbo usefull for it Vette. Why wouldn't he just go the traditional way and super charge it?

yea but turbo lag to that is still probably 20 pounds of boost.

it's pretty simple really can the small v8 even spool up that turbo by the time the 1/4 mile passes he may have it spooling decently launch at 8 k for decent boost

the guy said he wanted to do it because it was not the norm and was a neat way to practice the things he learnt. if you guys watch the video of it running you can see the turbines spinning up pretty good just revving it

that is the dumbest thing i've ever heard. lag aside, that turbo IS sized pretty close to waht gets run on sbc's...however, they do it in TWO turbos, not one. the two spin up faster.
nuff said, dude's a glutton for punshiment. tell him to come join the club.
