Well boys, the time has come. I just bought a ring for my girlfriend and I will be asking her to be my wife. I need your ideas on a clever way to do this. Let me know what you all think. I plan on asking her as soon as this weekend. I just need it to be clever guys. Thanks.

Well, I did it. I couldnt wait any longer. We went to a resturant down town milwaukee called Polaris. Its actually a high rise and the top of the building rotates. It rotates around once every 45 minutes to see the entire city. Anyways, we went with another couple that we are very close to and hang out with a lot. I was very nervous. When the waitress came out and asked us what we wanted, I said before we get to all of that, I have a question for my girlfriend. I pulled the ring out and got on one knee. I told her how much I loved her and asked her to marry me. She said yes and snatched that ring up so fast. LOL. She gave me a huge hug. Wow, I was so relieved to hear her say yes. I did just spend $2250 on her ring. But anyways guys, Thanks for the help. I just had to do it. I now have a fiancee. It is so wierd to say that.

September 05? is there always a long time before geting married? i know nothing of this.... and it sparked some curiosity.

yea, usually it takes a while, There is a lot of planning and aranging and not to mention saving money for the wedding. An average size wedding will cost $5500-$6500. GEEEZ, This is gonna hurt. LOL

dude, you've got a big assed pipe dream if you think your wedding will cost only $6500. that'll cover the food and drinks.
i proposed in hmmm....almost 13 months before we got married. and the prep was still rediculously hectic. we had 150 people at the wedding too so that hurt. ;-)
best party i've ever been to though!

What did you pay for 150? I just stood up in a friends wedding and he had about that amount of pepole and he payed $6500. it was a nice wedding too.
