i found some additive that actually works. will post about it soon. supposedly in double the recommended dose, it's equal to 113 octane. this aint no bullshit, it's for fucking real. it's not alcohol, but if you pour it on your hand it feels like that alcohol evap effect. read about it in a david vizard book. this guy's a no fuckin around genius from what i can tell. he tested quite a few additives and this one was the only one that actually did what it said.

higher octane = happy rotaries, 91 is more or less the bare minimum for a turbo car such as mine, damn rest of hte country can get 93 from the pump everywhere.
the doctors say I have ADD, but the just don't understand, hey look! a chicken!

In New Mexico, the lowest octane is 81, and the highest is 86

Are you kidding? Why haven't I been warned about this before? Thats it, New Mexico is a state I will never drive through or live in. Period. Unless my vehicle is diesel powered.

Yes, seriously, it has the sweet race fuel smell out the exhaust of my Chevy and Bug.
Maybe it is just with non-cat cars.
