ok my question is..

before the supra stages and is revving up it makes that blowing sound like 5 times is that the blow off vavle or am i rong, ive realy only heard this noise on supras only. can other cars make a noise identical to this with an aftermarket bov or does only inline 6s make it

watched the vid again an it does 6 blows and after the 6th blow i hear a fluttering like noise what is that or is it the bov?

It sounds like the tire grabbing. If it were the BOV, then thats an insane amount of pressure being shot out for it to reverb like that.

but it revs up about 5 or 6 times here ill get another vid

o wait i just remembered the bov only blows in between gears

but that sures as hell anit the tires squeaking

ok i found out that that fulttering sound i was talking about only happens in the top end of a gear and only a turbo model can do it...

thats the blow off valve going off when he is shifting gears during his burn out

but like rotary said is it even likely that he has that much pressuse that it blows that loud plus ive heard that noise on everyday streetable supras

It happens whenever he hits a limiter. It is the BOV.

on drag car the limiter is after a little after redline right? but drag cars are made to go past redline. but on a streetable supra who would go over redline purposely?

On a purposely built drag car, the limited is usually completely removed. Someone with a streetable Supra would go over the redline purposely if they had higher duration camshaft than stock.

I said a limiter, not redline. Limits you to a certain RPM at launch so that you practically always get the perfect launch.

ey i gotta question 4 u. no i dont know everything lol :P but this guy had an '03 mustang with a supercharger. so look he's runnin on the track and as he starts i hear the whine of the blower but the as he shifts i here a bov ath is that? just wonderin if u have any idea

Was that a question? That wasn’t very coherent. If you are asking if people who run superchargers also run a bov then yes they do. Try typing in English next time…
