some imports are turning domestic and vice versa
ex: nissan sentra is being built in mexico
ex: mitsubishi eclipse is being built in america
ex i think dodge neons and chevy cavys are a bit import

those r just some examles and im sure theyre many more but are import makers like nissan and mitsubishi making domestic cars? are they still classified as imports?

the term "import" used to be used as a usually right hand drive car (not alway rhd) was imported by tanker from japan or europe. nowadays foreign companys have plants here in america so for some time now majority of japanese cars are made in north america. (also most fords are now made in canada)

No you idiot. They are imports because they are manufactured by a foreign company. They are still imports because they are still built in another country for their use, regardless of if they are built here for our use.

That is also not true. The final production plant of the Integra and many other Hondas/Toyotas etc. is still Japan.
