as far as i know it is. i saw a vid of a guy maby on break.com? of a guy geting out his vehicle double birding a cop and telling him fuck you. the cop pulled out his billy club and beat the fuck outa the dude

Im not sure on the exact laws, but I have been told BY A COP HIMSELF, that flipping off a cop isn't illegal, because that is a freedom of speech. Which the freedom of speech says you can what you want, verbally or physicaly, and can express your opinion without any sort of punishment.

It is very illegal to make obscene gestures to police. Freedom of speech does not include verbal or signaled harassment towards anybody.

Well its not only that, its the fact that you cant walk up to anybody and give them the finger. It is illegal to be "vulgar" in public. You cant just randomly walk up to people and say "Fuck, shit, cunt, ass, bitch" and not get in trouble.
