Alright, I found out exactly what happened. When the guy who rode it put gas in it, he put regular gas, not mixed. Bet the thing was running fucking great until it seized... does this mean the crank is fucked too? Or does it just make the entire motor a paperweight?

Ouch, I had a friend that had a similar problem and what he did was pop off the spark plug, pour in a can of "Marvels Mystery Oil" and let is sit for about a week. That allowed the piston to soak in oil which then allowed it to break free from the cylindar wall. He cranked the motor over for a few minutes, then drained out all of the oil and gas. Replaced the fluids and the bike started right up. Never quite ran as good as before the seize up, but it ran for several years before he sold it.

sweet, take this guy's advice. that marvel mystery oil is amazing. that absolutely sucks about your bike, btw.

maybe. i'd call around. it's called marvel's mystery oil. btw, so let me get this straight, you bought the bike, it ran great, you let somebody fiddle with it and they didn't mix the gas. did i get that all right? or did it have this problem when you bought it?

when he filled up the empty tank, he thought it was a four stroke, and put in straight gas. Then rode it down the sand drags

well, I got some of that oil at Autozone, but when I finally got to actually look at my bike, I realized that's not what happened. I was pulling shit apart, and went to drain the radiator, and about three tablespoons poured out.
I let some gas into a clear bottle, and it was mixed gas, so it did overheat. And the crank moved just fine. After stripping almost everything off that pile to get the head and cylinder off, The thing was obviously pretty fucked up from heat. The piston meleted to the rings, as I originally thought.
Just take it to Smokin' joe's? or should I take it up to Hi-Tech?
And if anyone local needs a bottle of marvell's mystery oil....
