I have a question regarding the Motec ECU's/EMS's.. Are the Ignition, fuel and timing maps stored in the same format across the Motec range of ECUs/EMS's?

I am looking at getting a M4 Clubman, I have a friend that works on and tunes a race FTO that runs the top of the range Motec ECU/EMS, he said that I would be able to use his Maps if I got a Motec. But I dont need the same features that he has in his.

He has the Datalogging capability which I dont need.
All I need is an ECU/EMS that has the capability of 3 ignition outputs, 3 injector out puts and Mivec control (similar to Vtec)....if anyone else knows any other ECU/EMS that I can use please let me know.
