Hey do any of you import guys know of the 6a13 twin turbo Mitsubishi motors? They come out of the 1998+ Galants and the Japanese Legnums. If any one knows any thing and how much they run with gear box and computer please let me know

What configuration is the engine? V6 I6???

It is a V6 similar to mine but it is a 2.5l not a 2 and is twin turbo'd

That's what I figured. A freind of a friend has a VR-4... though she doesn't know jack about what she has, daddy bought it for here

the guy at our local rscr recycling place has no idea wtf that engine is. i highly doubt that it is the same engine that we had in the twin turbo 3000gt's and vr4's. the guy here didn't recognize the number, and somebody else had taken the codebook home.

I know that the engine came out in the 1998 Galant...not sure if you guys had em out there. It is also in the Legnums in Japan

Actually, the galant VR4 had a turbo as well AWD. same cocept as the turbo eclipse.
ILL BE WAITING AT THE NEXT LIGHT!

Yeah the VR4 Galant (in japan) has the 6a13 twin turbo engine, as does the VR4 Legnum, I am trying to source one of these front cuts.

front cuts? that's probably the same engine we have here. shipping would be better from japan though, and the engine would be better as well most likely. and cheaper. those mills are the eclipse rice boy's wet dream here in the states...
