The cars were made one behind the other, one car may have a VIN of 778 and the other 779, very rare to see the car that was made just before or after the other one. But did have that happen at our place once, sometimes you see it in license plates too.

in canada we don't use the sequencial license plates its all random a buddy of mine just got penn state plates he's number 4000 pretty cool

Hmmm, maybe its random until you see two sequential plates! LOL Ours look random too, I've never seen that happen again, our customers must have been in line together one behind the other.

ours use letter and numbers so yeah they're random not just sequenscial

Aren't your still six digits? Ours went seven around '80 or so.
