me neither the 323 aint' the coolest car in the world to start with. the e36 crowd is pretty dumb imho. that kid is probably the gutsiest e36 owner i've ever seen. the rest are generally afraid of their engines. if it were me, obviously, i'd install an m30-b35 in it.

What an idiot, what is there to gain with the Toyota motor? It would be easier to buy the Toyota car with the Toyota motor before screwing around with that, he should just put a super charger on it and be happy.

I don't know how easy the swap would be, but the 2JZ-GTE is one of the most bullit proof engines out there. It can handle 900+ HP completely stock...

Well if I were trying to build a 900hp street car, one it wouldn't be a BMW and two it wouldn't be Toyota powered. Not that he's looking for 900 hp, but I would go a different direction. What is this motor out of ? Is it a V6?

The 2JZ-GTE is the mill from a MK4 (93.5-98) Toyota Supra TT, it's a straight six.
