Actually, the fastest Hondas in the world use sequential race transmissions. But yeah, Honda tranny's are pretty stout, and the cranks to.

Re: just raced a wicked sileighty   Posted Sun Aug 31, 03   4:25 PM

sorry i guess i needed to specifiy fastest daily driven hondas like the 9 and 10 sec. ones. considering the freaking drag hondas w/the sequential tranny's are almost not even really hondas aty that point (respectively). all of the guys i am refering to use the completely stock oem tranny'sand still hit there 10's

and my point is you keep talking about drivetrain this and drivetrain that when you dont really need to change that.

i did forget to add the axles that we will be replacing.

Not siding with Chad, but he has a good point. I can list goodies from a mag all day long, but you still don't know about building engines by reading a magazine, it's all about real world experience and getting your hands dirty.

those sileithys are pretty awesome. I knew a guy who went to my school who took an older model 240SX and got an engine swap from japan, im pretty sure it was an S15 engine, not sure though. That thing was so sweet though.

Feel the power fo the new Renesis Rotar engine.
