Wow! That thing gets with it, but what is a DSM? The car looked like a Eagle Talon.
There is no substitute for cubic inches, except for cubic centimeters!

Exactly.
A DSM was a car produced jointly under the Chrysler Mitsubishi pact, in a plant, under the name Diamond Star Motors. Most common DSM's are the Mitsubishi Eclipse, Eagle Talon, and Chrysler Laser. They were produced from 90-94 I believe. The newer eclipse's and talons, (the laser was cut out after the 95 model change), that were made from 95-98, like Matt's, utilized the same engine as the previous models, the Mitsubishi 4G63 2.0 DOHC Turbo motor, found in many Japanese cars including the Lancer EVO.

Were? At the 60ft mark?
I think with the NOS on that Talon(DSM) there wasn't much of any lag.

Exactly. Just like the big Supra dogs; they need a small shot to get the huge snails spooling off the line

I think he took it easy out of the whole to prevent snapping half shafts. Thats a lot of power for an AWD car. I might be wrong but thats what it looked like to me.

was that an awd or rwd car? some of them i've seen are fully converted to rwd or they came that way. now, more importantly, does anyone know of a company that will mill some indestructable half shafts for me? i want to put a 100 shot on the jag maybe.
i've got a dsm shootout vid with a rwd dsm.

I dont know, im just assuming that its AWD.

well the jag rear end uses corvette style half shafts with u joints at either end. big enough in billet steel or strong aluminum, plus some lakewood u joints and it'd be close to indestructable. granted, it'd just move the point of stress elsewhere, but that's the fun of it all!

Shep's car is AWD. Most of the top dog's run AWD. He actually makes all his driveline components, and will do the same for customers

Go for the trail and error method, drive it until something breaks, then fix it. If it isn't broke, yet, then dont fix it. hahahaha
