hey i just got a new prelude and it needs to have the exhaust run to the back is it possible for me to do it myself

Say what? You need to have the exhaust run to the back? What are you talking about? Did somebody put a side exiting exhaust on it? Or do you want to put a cat-back exhaust on it? If so, you can probably do it yourself, just a couple bolts and hangers, generally.

A new Prelude? What year? Because they stopped producing them in 01' I think.

its a 93 but its got a new h23 in it but the exhaust is not run to the back its just going down from the headers and yes its a cat back .

Okay, take it to a shop that does exhausts, they're pretty common, and ask them to do what you want; if its running pipes back from the headers or cat or whatever is down there to a muffler and out the rear, it can be done.

H23? Sell it, and buy an H22. H23 is non vtec.

He makes a good point. It has torque, but its not a high output motor, and unless you plan on spending a ton of money on the engine, you're better off starting with a different one.
