so your telling me the toyota engine 3T-GTE (160hp and 152 tq) is slower than a b18a honda motor (168 hp and 112ft lbs) apparently to you it is since the honda engine has more hp

There is more to it then just HP. I’m not the one saying that HP is the only thing that matters, nor am I saying that Torque is the only thing that matters. You however are saying that Torque is the only thing that matters which is false.
Do I think that an 8 hp advantage will offset the 40lbft disadvantage? It’s hard to say, it depends on the weight of the cars in question, the gear ratio etc.. But I would guess that it wouldn’t. But that wasn’t what I was questioning you on. You make the statement that a 200hp 500lbft car would be faster then a 500hp 200lbft car, which is completely false.

You can have two equally modded 5.0 Mustang, one with a 4.10 and the other with a 3.71
Who do you think will win?

Dude you raced a wanna be ricer. I can come up with at least 50 different ricers that would murder your Cav. There are tons of people out there that pretend to be ricers yet all they have on their car is an intake and exhaust. Which are super light mods and most aren't even done correctly. Oh I would like to know how you knew that it was a B16?
