i heard from a guy that nissan is going to bring the Skyline to US markets sometime next year or the year after
i was just wondering if anyone knows if this is true or not

i heard Nissan will be importing them soon and selling them in the dealers

this is true. the Skyline will be hitting the USDM, but no one is quite sure when. Its already here in the form of an Infinity, but in its true form and colors it will be seriously demodified to meet smog laws. just like the lancer.

I saw pictures in a magazine of the show car concept, I think they really messed up the styling; the car was really great looking before. Kind of like how they messed up the Z car's great looks with the new 350Z. Sigh.

Oh, and nova, its an AWD turbo car with tons of amenities and gadgets. Its gonna be expensive. I don't understand why all anyone ever cares about is hp made. Sheesh. Why doesn't everyond just buy a drag frame car and a giant engine and be done with it, if all that's cared about is raw power? Forget about these silly car things. (sarcasm, if you couldn't tell)

but you have to be pleased with all aspects of your car
for me i want it to run as good as it looks
i think balence is the best

lets not forget something though.

the skyline is the single largest AWD power producer. Supra, WRX, 3000gt all come second place. even if they send it here N/A, or downgrade it ruthlessly, it still holds more potential than almost anything else in the import scene altogether. it has a certain presence, and a killer look.

that is why i am so interested in the prospects

you can get some really decent second hand skylines in england.. i could easily get a 400bhp+ R33 GTR for less than £15k

As for the Z concept car.. if you had read a bit more in to it you will probably be amazed by the new inovative ideas they have included. Personally I think it looks amazing. Very different to the old Skyline but still amazing.

If I HAD to pick any japanese car to buy with an unlimited budget, i don't think i would choose anything but a skyline. I don't care how you compare them to US cars, anything with that kind of handeling, with the possibility of over 1000bhp, is an amazing car.
